How does working completely virtually on our 100% plan differ from working at many traditional brokerages including the good and the bad? (note in Charleston, SC many things can work exactly the same way as with a traditional brokerage if this is what you prefer. You can work from office, bring clients to office, walk paperwork into office if you would like - it of course is up to you.)
First you have to come out of pocket $2,700 a year in
addition to MLS fees. Some traditional companies do not charge monthly fees or
E&O fees but generally speaking splits are very low in these cases. With us
$200.00 a month plus $300 a year for E&O. Note we do offer an 85% plan without any monthly fees as well though
there are some differences in the structure.
Instead of being paid 70, 60 or even 50 percent after paying a royalty which reduces your commission even further you are always paid exactly 100%.
Instead of bringing actual earnest money to closing you can just allow attorney to deduct from your commission check. In the rare even the earnest money is more than the commission check we can wire the money. (First 5 wires every year are free and then $15.00 per wire)
Instead of walking in Earnest Money to the office it can be sent through regular mail or sent by UPS/FedEX ground for about $8.00 which is really an overnight service if sending from anywhere in SC. The new state contracts for Realtors actually allow earnest money to be sent to office by client in whatever amount of days you and your client specify but either way no significant expense.
Instead of walking paperwork into our office you can just email it.
Instead of walking a commission check into our office you can just have the closing attorney wire into our account.
Instead of meeting your broker at the office to speak to him you can just call, text or email.
Instead of charging what your brokerage requires, you charge what you feel is appropriate.
With Brand Name you are your own boss so you decide when you work. There are no minimum sales requirements. Some agents sell 1 or 2 a year and others sell 40 a year.. We do not judge. What you sell is up to you.
Instead of putting up a sign with our brokerage information you can use your own signs with our name in small print on the bottom.
Your commission check can be direct deposited into your account the day after we receive it whether we receive the actual check or it is wired into our account which means it will hit your account at 12am. Generally speaking you receive your money much quicker with us than with a traditional brokerage. Basically if we receive check on Monday morning it will be in your account Wednesday morning if all paperwork is turned when we receive check or wire for example.
