Vice President of Sales

We are looking for a strong leader who will lead and grow a team of 6 inside sales agents and be the right-hand-man (or woman) to the CEO of one of the top real estate companies in Charleston, SC. We are hiring for the position of Vice President of Sales. You will report directly to the CEO and command the roll of #2 in the company. The company is currently 20 people large with $24 Million in annual sales revenue.

In the next 12 months, we are looking to grow our annual sales to $40 Million. We currently have the systems and sales force in place to make this happen. We already have the sales processes in place. We have the sales tracking systems in place. We have the top-notch team and service that our clients rave about. Description of
duties:
· Lead and grow a team of 6 inside sales agents who make phone calls and set appointments for our real estate company
· Assign the appointments set by the inside sales agents to the correct real estate agent in our company to convert the lead to a client
· Track and hold the team accountable for the number of calls and appointments made each day
· Conduct a daily team training meeting for continued growth in abilities
· Manage the 400 leads our company generates each month and assign to agents to call
· Track the appointments which are set but do not result in a new client for continued follow-up until they are ready to buy or sell their home
· Work on company strategy with CEO weekly to brainstorm ways to become the #1 real estate brokerage in Charleston, SC
· Train sales team to become better appointment setters
· Brainstorm ideas about new lead sources the company should purchase
· Help the CEO train the real estate agents to improve the conversion of appointments set to new clients signed
· Be a Leader
· Prior sales experience or sales management experience is preferred with a strong understanding of the sales process from new lead, prospecting, appointment setting, and closing the deal
· Recruit, hire, and train new inside sales agents on an on-going basis. Put non-performers on a process improvement plan and let perpetual non-performers go. You will have 100% control of your team and who you want on board
· You will have your own full-time virtual assistant to use to help you accomplish your goals
· This position has complete autonomy. You will be given desired objectives, exceptional training and 1on1 support from the CEO and then give free reign to accomplish your priorities in the manner you see in the best interest for the firm.
